HOW CAN YOU LEARN ABOUT MONEY?

You know that you need money for lots of things—but what can you do to learn more about money?

Try these things:

To save more money…
Ask your parents if they will match whatever is left from your allowance each week (that is, whatever you don’t spend). Then deposit the money into a special savings account at your credit union.

To make it easy to save…
If you get an allowance, ask your parents to pay you with $1 bills, so you can put some of the money aside for savings.

To practice spending (without really spending)…
Get your family together and play Monopoly. You can practice your math skills and learn how to spend some of your money and save the rest.
